PLANO, Texas, Oct. 4, 2023 -- Lone Star Overnight (LSO™), the leading parcel carrier in the Southwest and Central regions, is announcing a general rate increase (GRI), effective January 1, 2024, that will average 5.9% on base rates. This news follows earlier similar rate increase announcements from FedEx and UPS. Additionally, LSO is announcing that it will assess a flat Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) of $1.50 on residential deliveries from October 30, 2023 to January 7, 2024.
